Loesje de Bree
The process of creating art always has been important to Loesje de Bree (of European descent) and has been her preferred means of communication with others in her career as an arts therapist and counsellor since 2001.
Loesje lives in Raglan and enjoys being able to focus on her new environment, the stimulating buzz and the people that cross her path.
Her painting style is being described as “Quirky”, often depicting the human experience of feelings, thoughts and actions.
Loesje’s paintings tell her own stories but leave plenty of space for the viewer to recognize their own perceptions of themselves, others and the world around us.
Over the years her work has found homes overseas as well as in New Zealand.
