“SMALL PRINT” Printmakers exhibition

The Small Print is a touring exhibition covering all aspects of printmaking. All prints in the exhibition are handmade art pieces. Traditional techniques such as etching, mezzotint, monoprint, woodcut, linocut, aquatint and chine colle have been used.

You will also see non-traditional and creative processes on display in the vibrant high-quality prints.

The Print Council Aotearoa New Zealand was established over 20 years ago.  It is comprised of many experienced and emerging printmakers from throughout New Zealand; there are also members from Europe and the Pacific.  The traveling exhibitions are varied and showcase the diversity of print on paper.

PCANZ is member-run, national and non profit organisation that promotes contemporary fine art printmaking. It promotes fine art printmaking.  Through workshops, exhibitions, collaborations and exchanges between members, national and international associations, PCANZ fosters a greater appreciation of printmaking among its members and the wider community.

The SMALL PRINT exhibition will include 63 artworks in sets of 6 prints. Prints will be available for sale at $100 each.

The SMALL PRINT Exhibition at the Wharf Gallery Raglan runs from Thursday 5 October to Sunday 15 October.
